This is not so much a boxloaders injury but more a dance performed by a trainer or trainers assistant. When training dogs to turn on the box a pole may be placed in front of the box with the idea that the dog goes one side of the pole on the way to the box and returns the other side.

Initial training for this requires someone to block one side of the pole as the dog goes in, then do a jiving swivvel accross the other side forcing the dog round.

It appears to help if you do a hip wiggle at the same time (Cliff being the expert here). Obviously there is potential for injury with possible hip displacement and if you lose your footing during the jiving swivvel, you may end up with a pole where you least want it.
