The handlers on a flyball team line the dogs up, release them at the appropriate time, and then call them back across the finish line. When the handlers line up their dogs to race, they often rev them up by saying "ready" or "ready, ready ready." Some teams say it all together, as sort of a group harmonic in the runback area.
Flyball dogs tend to explode when they hear the word "rrready." or "ready ready ready"
